FUNERAL GUIDELINES
The following guidelines and procedures have been developed as standards for any funeral service held at Carmody Hills Baptist Church. Anyone who desires to use the church for a funeral service must be in complete agreement and compliance with these guidelines. The following fees will be rendered to use the church for Funerals: Members NO COST/Repast (NO COST) In-Active Members $250.00/Repast $200.00 The fees listed above are for the individuals who are being funeralized (body being laid to rest.) Church records will verify the decease’s membership. If the deceased was inactive for the last year and not financially supportive of church, they are considered an In-Active Member. The family will be required to pay the listed fee. All fees are to be rendered to the church in cash or money order two (2) days prior to funeral services. If not rendered by this expected date, the services will be canceled and the church will be closed. The Pastor will preach all eulogies, unless special requests are made and approved by the Pastor. All funeral dates should be checked and cleared with the Church Secretary and Pastor. Church Secretary will then contact the funeral home and make arrangements as to when the body is to arrive for wake and funeral service. The Pastor or any member of this church will not handle the body. If the funeral home requires that someone be available to bring body into sanctuary, please have your pallbearers or someone from the family meet one (1/2) hour prior to services to assist with the body. The required time frame for services are as follows: 1-hour for wake service (viewing of body) 1 and ½ hours for funeral service 1-hour for Repast (once family returns from burial site) REPAST (if applicable) No food is to be prepared at the church. Food is to be prepared and brought in by the family. The food served is the sole responsibility of the family of the deceased. The kitchen is to be left the way it was found. A trustee, a deacon and a minister will be available at each funeral service. |

The following fees will be rendered to use the church for Funerals: Non-Members $650.00/No Repast The fees listed above are for the individuals who are being funeralized (body being laid to rest.) All fees are to be rendered to the church in cash or money order two (2) days prior to funeral services. If not rendered by this expected date, the services will be canceled and the church will be closed. PULPIT The Pastor will preach all eulogies, ($250.00) unless special requests are made and approved by the Pastor. An associate minister will be available to render service if requested for ($150.00). All funeral dates should be checked and cleared with the Church Secretary and Pastor. Church Secretary will then contact the funeral home and make arrangements as to when the body is to arrive for wake and funeral service. ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES Administrative Service ($250.00) includes toner, paper, formatting, typing, and reproduction of programs 250 maximum. Reproduction only paper included ($200.00) maximum 250 programs. MUSIC Music is sole responsibility of the person requesting the facility. All music played in the sanctuary or lower auditorium must be Instrumental or Christian based music. The church pianist or organist may be available for ($150.00), or the use of the instruments (piano and or organ to be used by the musician of your choice) ($100.00). CUSTODIAL SERVICES The services ($150.00) provided consist of cleaning of the restrooms, disposing of trash, taking down decorations, cleaning the floors, rearranging furniture, before and after service. The Pastor or any member of this church will not handle the body. If the funeral home requires that someone be available to bring body into sanctuary, please have your pallbearers or someone from the family meet one (1/2 ) hour prior to services to assist with the body.
