Contribution Tax Statements can be requested by filling out a form located in the mailboxes outside of the administrative offices. All contributions must have been received by December 31, 2019, in order to be acknowledged for 2019 tax status.

You can now donate to Carmody Hills Baptist Church without writing checks or worrying about cash donations! This service lets you set up automatic contributions and change the timing or amount of your gift at any time. It’s simple and secure. Please click on the Online Giving logo, located on our homepage, to get started.
Online Giving is easy for you and it helps us. When travel, illness or other circumstances prevent you from coming to service, Online Giving allows your weekly offering to continue on an uninterrupted basis.

No more check writing, no cost to participate, confidential and secure, app for
smartphones, easy updates and changes, weekly/monthly/quarterly and one-time
donations, accommodates special collections, printable reports for tax purposes.

Creates a more consistent cash flow so the church can more accurately budget for
expenses, safely secures transactions with no need to share personal info with staff,
reduces administrative costs, simplifies adding, changing or discontinuing

Offertory Envelopes
Offertory envelopes are available at the back of the pew chairs. Contributions can be put in the collection basket during services or mailed to the Church Office.
Stock Gifts
When making stock donations (transfers) to Carmody Hills Baptist Church, please advise Sis. Marsha Dickerson in our Finance Office ahead of time to ensure proper and timely handling of the transaction. She will provide you with information needed to perform the transfer.
Matching Gifts
Many companies allow their employees to make donations to charitable organizations through payroll deductions, and some will match the gift dollar for dollar. Ask your employer’s human resources, matching gift or payroll department if there is a matching gift program. Carmody Hills Baptist Church is an approved tax-exempt organization by the I.R.S. under section 501(c)3.
Wills and Bequests
Once you have taken care of your family, please consider a bequest to Carmody Hills Baptist Church. The best wording to use is “Carmody Hills Baptist Church, Inc., Capitol Heights, Maryland.” If you decide to name Carmody Hills Baptist Church in your will, please notify our Pastor so we can thank you. It is a good idea to consult an attorney before writing your will.
Tribute Gifts (“In Memory of” and “In Honor of”)
Tribute and memorial donations provide a unique opportunity to remember family and friends. When you make your gift, we will send a notification of your thoughtfulness to whomever you designate. Please contact the Finance team for more information.
